The Mobile Excellence Awards has announced finalists for 2008 in 13 categories. Here is a roundup of finalists.

The MEA's will recognize all aspects of the mobile technology, content and entertainment ecosystem in a series of upcoming events and panels for the mobile industry to share, learn and celebrate 2008 in mobile.

The open Awards Reception will take place on Monday, Oct. 27, at Digital Hollywood in Santa Monica, CA.
