Burst Media, Quattro Wireless partner to sell mobile ads

Burst Network delivers advertising on more than 4,000 specialty content Web sites

Burst Media, a provider of advertising representation services and technology to independent Web publishers, partnered with Quattro Wireless to leverage its GetMobile platform.

This new delivery channel will enable advertisers to serve mobile ads in conjunction with Internet display ads with just one platform, as opposed to requiring a new platform or needing additional networks to coordinate ad campaigns.

The first two Web publishers to launch mobile versions of their sites under this program are RealGM and Parent Previews.

The lack of resources and technology to create and monetize mobile content for most independent online publishers is what drove this partnership, Burst Media and Quattro Wireless said.

The alliance seeks to combine the specialty content demanded by audiences with the branding and direct personal impact of mobile ads.

Quattro Wireless matches advertisers with its network of exclusive publisher inventory.

Burst Network delivers advertising on more than 4,000 specialty content Web sites. It is one of the largest independent vendors of online display advertising.

Burst Media’s AdConductor ad management platform and technology serves more than 8 billion ads every month to Web sites, ad networks and other online publishing entities.

The GetMobile platform delivers technology for launching adaptive, mobile-optimized sites that pull content directly from publishers’ wired Web sources and are integrated with a network of advertisers.
