AT&T, Starbucks, Domino's Pizza, Aflac, The Weather Channel, Traffic.com and Discover Card are using Air2Web tool to better engage their audiences.

Air2Web's newly launched Brand Asset Download tool helps brands connect and engage with customers through mobile ringtones and wallpaper. Air2Web's Brand Asset Download optimizes and delivers images and audio content to mobile phones. The tool is part of Air2Web's Mobile Marketing Services Suite.

"Brand Asset Download is one of the mobile marketing services included in Air2Web's solution series," said Dan Flanegan, mobile marketing evangelist for Air2Web and CEO of Brand Anywhere, Atlanta.

"The solution series provides brands a broad variety of mobile marketing programs that can enhance existing traditional tactics such as print, outdoor, radio, et cetera," he said.

"Mobile phones are very personal. People like to customize them with their favorite ringtones, wallpapers and photos. Many brands have strong consumer loyalty."

The tool is part of Air2Web's Mobile Marketing Services Suite.

Air2Web's Brand Asset Downloader lets brands enable customers to customize their mobile phones with the company's brand, including logos, mascots and jingles. This is designed as a viral way to grow the brand.

Brand Asset Download can be implemented in seven business days.

Air2Web also provides the brand with weekly reports that include traffic data and demographic and geographical information.

The campaigns will also prompt consumers to reply to SMS messages with a set keyword to opt in for future promotions.

The goal of Brand Asset Download is for the brand to interact on a more casual level with the customer.

"Companies that have strong identities are looking for new technologies and mediums to use to help grow their brands," Mr. Flanegan said. "Mobile is one of those powerful, personal technologies. The Air2Web advantage, and therefore an effective marketing tactic is our speed to market.

"We can quickly mobilize a brand's assets," he said. "Brands who have used solutions like Air2Web's Brand Asset Downloader don't usually use it to generate content revenue.

"They typically have a popular brand identity that customers have connected with, and they want to provide a fun way to let their customers enjoy the brand on their mobile phones."

Can anyone tell me if these brands are managing these services in-house or if they are using an agency?
