Mobile Marketing Association rolls out heavyweights for New York forum

What's a month without a mobile event? But next month's Mobile Marketing Forum June 10-11 should bring to New York the mobile marketing industry's great and good.

Delegates will congregate at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York's Times Square to discuss key mobile marketing trends, regulatory issues, brand campaigns and new advances made at this conference organized by the Mobile Marketing Association.

"The forum, it's a great way to communicate with and educate brands and agencies," said Steen Andersson, vice president of marketing at mobile services firm 5th Finger, San Francisco.

"The forum will be filled with up-to-date information on what companies are doing in mobile," he said. "Attendees will get insight into what is going on in the mobile industry in terms of legislation and any challenges. It's a great way to get up-to-speed on these issues."

The event will feature industry heavyweights such as MMA president Laura Marriott; Tom Daly, group manager at Coca-Cola and MMA chairman; Sophia Stuart, director of mobile at Hearst Magazines Digital Media; Dan Rosen, founder of AKQA Mobile; Pamela Jordan, manager of interactive marketing for Anheuser-Busch; and Louis Gump, vice president of mobile for The Weather Channel.
