Schedulicity simplifies appointment schedules via new mobile site

Schedulicity has unveiled a new mobile site that lets consumers book appointments through a single tap experience.

The consumer and business mobile site facilitates on-the-go booking services across more than 30 different verticals. Consumers can access the mobile site by entering m.schedulicity.com on their mobile browser.

Schedulicity is an online appointment scheduling service for small businesses.

?Obviously mobile is a huge role in our company,? said David Galvan, president of Schedulicity, San Francisco.?It?s a whole new mobile platform and it?s pretty unique.

?We detect whether you?re a merchant or consumer and we try to make it simple to use,? he said.

Simply mobile
Through the mobile site, consumers can log-in to their account, check accounts, as well as book and reschedule appointments.

Users can edit existing appointments and classes, adjust personal availability, schedule and edit recurring appointments, dial or email a client directly from an appointment or client record and access the Schedulicity Message Center to view messages sent by clients who schedule online.

Additionally, the mobile site lets users schedule an appointment or book a class without typing a single word.

Consumers can also search for a business by category and use the one-tap feature to access maps and click-to-call capabilities.

In addition, users can cancel or reschedule their upcoming appointments or classes.

?We try to make it simple to use ? all single tap,? Mr. Galvan said. ?Mobile is really ubiquitous. For our business, not only do they use mobile to interact with their customers from a merchant perspective, but they also use a mobile device to run their entire business.

?Before, essentially all we had was a mobile version of our mobile site, it wasn?t a mobile interface,? he said.

Past efforts
Schedulicity will be promoting its new mobile site across its Web site.

Last year, the company rolled out Pop-Up Offers, a new scheduling feature that simplifies the process of filling last-minute appointment cancellations and open time slots for service professionals.

The Pop-Up Offers feature is available free of charge to Schedulicity customers with fully integrated Web and mobile access. Service professionals such as hair stylists, massage therapists, estheticians and attorneys can automate their entire scheduling process via their mobile device (see story).

?The consumer wants to be able to browse and discover and be able to book appointments,? Mr. Galvan said.
