The Beef series will be part of QD3 Entertainment's urban programming

QD3 Entertainment, an independent producer and aggregator of urban content for multi-platform distribution, announced its partnership with mobile service provider Helio to launch a QD3 branded channel as part of Helio’s new Music Mix premium video package.

The package features streaming music-related video content such as performances, artist interviews, music news and videos.

“Partnering with Helio was an easy decision for us, we are both focused on meeting the needs of the same trendsetting urban audience,” said Quincy D. Jones III, founder/CEO of QD3 Entertainment, in a statement.

Music Mix will exhibit QD3 Entertainment’s urban programming through five categories within its branded channel.

The categories include classic clips, which are rare and exclusive video clips from the early days of Hip Hop, and uncut in-depth interviews with some of the biggest names in that genre.

Also included are clips from the Beef series, which documented arguments and feuds in the Hip-Hop genre and also in athletic, political and entertainment realms. Then there’s the comedy content for stand-up routines and skits and another one for original episodic content developed especially for mobile.

QD3 Entertainment’s branded channel will offer regularly updated programming, including exclusive clips just for Helio members.

In addition to its broadband channel at www.qd3.com, QD3 has a number of strategic cross-platform distribution partnerships including Comcast, Joost, Nickelodeon, BET and Genius Products.
