Europe to investigate Telefónica deal for German mobile operator
LONDON ? European antitrust regulators said Friday that they had opened an in-depth investigation into an agreement by the Spanish telecommunications company Telefónica to buy Germany?s smallest mobile operator, E-Plus, from its Dutch rival KPN, The New York Times reports.
