Can Europe repeat its dominance in mobile?
Go back to the late 1980s and the global mobile industry was a fight between Europe and Japan, with Japan edging Europe on novel applications but Europe gradually becoming dominant in devices and networks, through companies like Ericsson (which remains a dominant force in mobile infrastructure) and Nokia (which is currently backing its business into its  mobile infrastructure company Nokia Networks and Systems).
