Brands face tough screening for Facebook video ads
A video ad on Facebook FB -0.96% will cost advertisers about $1 million a day, but the social network won't accept a check from just anyone. Just a small group of brands was invited to submit concepts, which will have to be approved by Facebook Inc.'s creative team.

Tesco to launch own-brand smartphone
Tesco is planning to release its own-brand smartphone before the end of the year, following on from the success of its Hudl tablet. CEO Philip Clarke told BBC Radio 5 Live the phone will run Google's Android software, and will be pre-installed with Tesco services, which could include its streaming service Blinkbox.
