Google announced Tuesday it was rolling out an update to the Google Phone app on Nexus and Android One devices that will allow users to screen potential spam callers. The new feature will also allow users to not just block such numbers but also report them to Google as spam.

Amazon.com launched its popular Prime loyalty program in India on Tuesday, three years after its entry into the world's second-most populous country.

Chinese tech giant Huawei said smartphone shipments rose 25 percent on-year in the first half of the year, as consumers snapped up high-end phones in Europe and Central Asia.
