Twistbox offers games, WAP sites and mobile TV channels worldwide

Mandalay Media plans to buy mobile content producer and publisher Twistbox Entertainment Inc. in a reverse merger deal.

If the transaction goes through, Twistbox, Sherman Oaks, CA, will become Mandalay’s sole current operations and continue to operate as usual across its subsidiaries and territories.

Mandalay Media is a development stage company.

Ian Aaron, who is CEO of Twistbox, will be named to the Mandalay board while retaining his current post. Prior to joining Twistbox, Mr. Aaron was president of the TV Guide Television Group.

The transaction is expected to close this quarter pending certain conditions.

Twistbox offers games, WAP sites and mobile TV channels worldwide through licenses with brands and direct distribution with more than 100 operators in 40-plus countries.
