Tribe Mediterranean Foods promotes healthy living via iPhone app

Tribe Mediterranean Foods is keeping consumers healthy by letting them locate natural foods stores and farmers? markets via an iPhone application.

The All Natural Food Finder application locates users based on their current or pending location. The application is available for free in Apple's App Store.

?Our Natural Food Finder is a fun way for consumers to incorporate healthy eating into their lives by making it easier to locate all natural food stores and farmers' markets wherever they are,? said Gitti Crowley, vice president of marketing at Tribe, Taunton, MA.

?The app also incorporates Tribe recipes complete with shopping lists, so there?s no hassle of printing out or writing down ingredients,? she said. ?Our Natural Food Finder app helps bring our brand promise to life in an engaging way.?

Tribe produces a line of Mediterranean food products, including all natural and organic hummus.

Healthy mobile
Users can view details to get directions and also see seasonal hours of Farmers' Markets.

In addition, consumers can let their friends know about places to visit and filter results by Natural Food Stores or Farmers' Markets.

Users can also view hummus recipes and create their own shopping list.
