Mobile photo sharing company SnapMyLife has added ShoZu support to its social media service to enable one-click photo uploads to its Web site directly from users’ mobile phones.

Consumers with ShoZu-equipped handsets can now instantly post their camera phone photos to SnapMyLife for mobile viewing and sharing with other users around the world. SnapMyLife’s site lets anyone with a camera phone and mobile Web access browse though the latest uploaded photos, make comments, mark favorites and build a group of friends.

“SnapMyLife's vision is to be the best place to immediately share and view mobile photos on all types of phones, from feature phones to high-end phones,” said David Chang, cofounder and vice president of marketing for SnapMyLife, Needham, MA. “We’ve seen dramatic growth since our official launch in April 2008.

“There are already over 1 million unique visitors per month on the mobile Web, with visitors from every country in the world,” Mr. Chang said.

SnapMyLife is optimized for viewing directly on mobile phones and lets anyone with a camera phone and mobile Web access to share photos instantly with friends and family.

SnapMyLife is operated by Mobicious Inc., a venture-backed company also headquartered in Needham, MA.

ShoZu develops relationships with handset manufacturers and wireless carriers. SnapMyLife builds the audience and community directly with end-consumers through Internet advertising, word of mouth and viral invites via the Web.

ShoZu provides mobile social media services that connect mobile consumers with their online social networks, personal blogs, photo storage sites and other Web 2.0 properties from their handset.

The company also has a mobile advertising service that offers behaviorally targeted ad delivery. It has formed partnerships with almost 50 destinations in addition to SnapMyLife, including Motorola and Samsung.

“SnapMyLife is a place where users can share content on the mobile Web from anywhere in the world,” Mr. Chang said. “Our ShoZu partnership allows them to share much more easily.

“We want to optimize the mobile viewing experience for the greatest number of people,” he said. “SnapMyLife is about immediacy, letting our users see what’s happening all over the world right now.”
