Retailers are finding out, much to their chagrin, the threat of Amazon and its shadow tool, showrooming. In training consumers to visit retail stores, examine products, compare the price on Amazon and then not buy it from the bricks-and-mortar outlet, the Internet’s largest retailer is threatening business models up and down the retail chain.
In this hour-long, free webinar on Thursday, April 25 at 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., panelists from Starcom, Razorfish and Yankee Group will discuss how retailers and marketers can address the issue of showrooming and retain the loyalty of their customers in-store and on mobile sites and applications.

Wow! I am going to participate even though my specific industry is not the target- we have such an issue in the automotive industry with Showrooming and yet when you talk to dealers about it they respond like deer in the head lights-overcoming the objections presented in showrooming require transparency, customer service and value building of a dealership ON THE SPOT! critical issue which is in need desperately in the automotive industry...thanks and I look forward to it!
