Vivaki in far-reaching mobile ad serving partnership with Medialets
Publicis Groupe?s Vivaki is partnering with Medialets to be the third-party ad server for mobile and tablet campaigns.

Vivaki?s network of agencies, including ZenithOptimedia, Starcom MediaVest Group, Digitas and Razorfish, will leverage Medialets? advertising technology to deliver mobile ads and measurement across premium mobile publishers.

Under the new partnership, the two companies will also collaborate on first-to-market solutions, share research and engage in joint efforts to drive standards in the mobile and tablet marketplace.

AP sells mobile coupon program iCircular to Wanderful Media
The Associated Press has sold iCircular, which makes retailers weekly ad circulars available on mobile devices. The buyer is digital advertising company Wanderful Media, Los Gatos, CA.

The iCircular program was launched last fall and quickly expanded to include more than 180 publications and 21 retailers, including Macy?s, Walmart and Toys R Us. The program is HTML5 based, enabling publishers to integrate digital sales circulars from leading retailers into their mobile Web sites and online outlets and extend their traditional preprint distribution for the circulars.

The AP had always intended to sell the business after determining if there was interest in such a product from newspapers, retailers and customers.

Wanderful Media, which is backed by 12 media companies, operates local shopping Web sites and runs local digital ad campaigns for retailers.
