Susan G. Komen for the Cure encourages involvement in the cause via mobile

Millions of Susan G. Komen for the Cure followers can keep up with the latest news on breast cancer with the launch of a mobile Web site.

The site enables anyone to conveniently access breast cancer and breast health information and provides the ability to donate on-the-go right from their mobile devices. The site is available at http://m.komen.org.

?As the leader of the breast cancer movement, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has an ongoing need to communicate its mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever to the world,? said Jaquelyn Kurio, marketing communications specialist at Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Dallas, TX.

?By creating a mobile extension of the brand, a large global interactive community will be able to become part of the Komen family by connecting with and/or contributing to our mission,? she said.

With more than 400 pages dedicated to information on breast health and breast cancer, komen.org is the one of the most comprehensive online resources available about the disease.

Last year, more than 3.4 million unique individuals visited komen.org, which represents an average of more than 9,000 unique visitors each day.
