The magic of mobile
Mobile Magic features updated attraction wait times and Disney?s FastPass return times for the park they are in.
Consumers can also view the locations of their favorite attractions, characters and restaurants with GPS-enabled maps.
The application also features a restaurant listing, tips on what's happening in the parks and trivia games to play against other park guests.
New content will continue to be added to the Mobile Magic application as the attractions change at the park.
The application is $9.99 for a 180-day subscription.
Verizon customers can find the application in the Media Center/Get It Now under the Travel and Navigation category or text the keyword MAGIC to short code 2777 to purchase the application on some feature phones.
The application is available on handsets from certain manufacturers such as LG, Samsung, Nokia and Motorola.
Park guests who are not Verizon Wireless customers can access select information, such as park hours, attraction information, entertainment schedules and dining information on their mobile device through http://m.disneyworld.com and http://m.disneyland.com.
Debra Lewis, a spokeswoman for Verizon Wireless, Basking Ridge, NJ, said that the application is for everybody who wants to go to a Disney park.
?This gives our customers a great, exclusive application that will enhance their experience at the Disney parks and resorts,? Ms. Lewis said. ?Some of the info they can get in the application can't be found anywhere else, so it's a great thing to have in their hip pockets as they navigate and enjoy the Disney experience.?
