Many American consumers are beyond excited by the prospect of Apple Pay, but overseas the iPhone's latest feature is old news.

Twice this year, the company has said that it would launch a smartphone running Tizen ? an alternative to Google?s Android operating system, which powers the vast majority of the mobile devices sold by the South Korean giant.

While still a juggernaut, with analysts expecting sales of around 9 million iPhone 6s in its launch weekend, Apple may be losing some of its shine, according to a poll.
