You can now receive coupons in stores just by Shazaming
a song
When a customer pulls their phone out to Shazam a song as they?d normally do
from time to time, the app is able to tell what store the person is in by
detecting an inaudible audio code. When the app pulls up the information about
what song or audio message is playing, it will also include a special offer or
other specifically-created content for participating retailers.

T-Mobile changes data throttling notification
The mobile carrier has agreed to change the way it handles customers who hit
monthly data limits, the Federal Communications Commission announced. When
customers hit those limits, T-Mobile allows them to continue to use data, but
at reduced speeds.

Mobile apps are offering consumers the chance to stash in a drawer all the
loyalty cards cluttering their wallet or key ring. These apps also offer
