LogoVision Wireless, a developer of mobile streaming technologies, has expanded its video streaming applications for Java phones.

It will now support phones such as Nokia, Sony Ericcson, Windows Mobile and the iPod Touch and iPhone. Samsung and LG Java handsets are also supported.

“Our transmission model will provide global support for video transmission over standard IP for all of these handsets for any organization that is interested in distribution mobile video/audio content,” said Mark Krebs, CEO of LogoVision. “Our transmission model is carrier and proprietary streaming protocol, independent for live video streaming as well.”

The LV solution includes interactive mobile video dbms and UGC, interactive enterprise mobile video, camera phone streaming and large-scale interactive live stream MultiFeed, requiring only live feed addresses for television, personal, utility, commercial, or surveillance video.

The generic LV Player is an optimized, downloadable java midlet for java handsets, or native player filter for Windows and Apple handhelds, optimizing video decoding for embedded 3gp, Windows Mobile or Quicktime.

The LV Linux server technologies provide dynamic adaptive bitrate encoding of live or archived multimedia.

MyMovy.com uses LogoVision for archived, live media and mobile video advertising.

MyMovy.com content is searchable through tags, titles, groups and corporate portals.

LogoVision can help brands target consumers ages 13-50 who would want to used mobile phones for any computing, Internet connectivity, multimedia messaging and entertainment.

These products are intended for any corporations with video/audio content.

They can be used to support consumers that would stream media/advertising offered by the corporate content providers.

“We do see huge markets and opportunities in Europe and Southeast Asia,” Mr. Krebs said. “All our applications run on Java handsets.”
