Verizon announces winners of Jonas Brothers sweepstakes

Verizon Wireless gave 10 Jonas Brothers fans an early present during this holiday season.

The Basking Ridge, NJ-based wireless carrier treated the Jonas Brothers fans to a weekend in the Bahamas to see Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas perform at the Atlantis, Paradise Island resort.

In addition to winning tickets to the private performance, each of the winners of the Jonas Brothers sweepstakes received roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, car service and $500 spending money.

The following fans watched the Jonas Brothers perform live at Atlantis, Paradise Island resort on Dec. 13:

Chris Harris from Deland, FL; Nicole Fachetti from Needham, MA; Ashleigh King from St. Louis; Chelsea Alonzi from Short Hills, NJ; Abbie Schornstheimer from Elmira, NY; Elizabeth Wexler from Rye, NY; Tracy Intelisano from Reading, PA; Veronica Neff from Alexandria, VA; Jaclyn Rogers from Annandale, VA; and Pam Grigas from Puyallup, WA.

Verizon Wireless customers first had to buy or upgrade to a Samsung Glyde or a Verizon Wireless Juke by Samsung at participating Verizon Wireless or Circuit City locations.

Customers then had to register the purchase online and install Verizon Wireless' V Cast Music with Rhapsody software on their computers between Sept. 2 and Nov. 1.

Those who did so were able to download four complimentary exclusive live versions of songs from the Jonas Brothers' new album "A Little Bit Longer."

These customers also were provided the chance to be entered to win a trip to Atlantis to see the Jonas Brothers. Customers could also enter for free online.

The Jonas Brothers are an AMA-winning, Grammy-nominated boy band from Wyckoff, NJ. They gained their popularity from the Disney Channel.

Customers who subscribe to V Cast Music with Rhapsody, Verizon Wireless' music service that includes a library of more than 5 million songs, can download music to their PCs free of digital rights management software that restricts how and where music can be played.

The music can then be side-loaded or downloaded over-the-air on select phones.

Verizon Wireless operates a wireless voice and data network serving 70.8 million customers, making it the No. 2 carrier in the U.S. It is a joint venture of Verizon Communications and Vodafone.
