MMA launches educational DVD series

The Mobile Marketing Association has announced the availability of the first DVD in its new series of educational tools, including content from the November 2008 Mobile Marketing Forum.

The DVDs are available via the MMA Web site at http://mmaglobal.com/events/forum-dvd and can be bought by both members and non-members. Future DVDs produced through the partnership with bnetTV.com will be announced as they are available.

"Our strategy is always on and always connected," said Mike Wehrs, president/CEO of the MMA, New York. "Even more than the TV and Web, the mobile channel provides brands with the unique ability to connect with consumer like never before, building a meaningful dialogue of engagement between brand and consumer.

"The MMA's regional Mobile Marketing Forum series brings the entire mobile marketing ecosystem together under one roof, including leading operators, brands, agencies, content providers, entertainment and media companies from around the globe," he said.

The MMA's Forum DVD series is a way for forum attendees and those who were not able to attend get the most value from their MMF experience and walk away with new ideas and perspectives.

The new DVD series will continue to roll out throughout 2009, and will include case studies, white papers, video footage and other education content from the upcoming Mobile Marketing Forum events.

"The forums deliver the best learning and networking experience of any event in the mobile space, complete with fully interactive agendas packed with the latest brand, operator and agency case studies designed to drive the mobile marketing industry forward," Mr. Wehrs said.

Through the MMA's events and educational DVDs created through the partnership with bnetTV.com, those new to mobile will learn best practices with real-world application and those already engaged in mobile can learn how to deploy more advanced capabilities to enhance their existing mobile initiatives, per the association.

BnetTV.com has been a long-time MMA partner.

The company offers content and interviews with industry experts on a multitude of key topics, including mobile.

"This partnership enables us to leverage bnetTV.com's online broadcasting and streaming video expertise to provide educational content, as well as highlights from MMA events and other resources that will deliver insight into the mobile industry at large and drive the momentum for mobile marketing adoption," Mr. Wehrs said.
